Melissa Oneil

MelissaMelissa Crystal O'Neil (born July 12, 1988[1]) is a Canadian performer and actress. O'Neil was the first Canadian woman to win Canadian Idol's third season, which aired in 2005. O'Neil is an actress who is famous for her roles in Syfy's science fiction series Dark Matter. O'Neil was famous for her performance in The Rookie as Officer Lucy Chen. O'Neil was judged in the bottom two and three of the finals. The judges were shocked by this , and they urged viewers to choose Melissa for her singing talents. In the following weeks, O'Neil never fell back into the bottom three of the rankings after giving consistently excellent performances, with judge Zack Werner declaring that she was "a contender to win the whole contest". O'Neil and Rex went on to make it to the final two contestants of the show on September 7 on the 7th of September in 2005. After yet another stunning performances, Werner declared that "The King [Kalan Porter] is dead and long live the Queen". O'Neil defeated Goudie at the grand finale results showon September 14 in 2005. She also was crowned the third Canadian Idol and the first female winner.
