Patricia Apollonia Kotero is an American singer-actress and former model. She was known as the co-star of Prince's 1984 movie Purple Rain, and the singer for the girl band Apollonia 6 The actress and singer was named Apollonia by Prince and became one of many female performers in the 1980s to benefit from her association with the Purple One.
